• Aadhaar Number (for verification purposes)

Technician Verification

ServiceSetu may collect Aadhaar Number from technicians solely for identity verification and fraud prevention purposes. Aadhaar information is not sold, rented, or shared with unauthorized third parties.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Create and manage user accounts
• Connect customers with technicians
• Process service requests and bookings
• Verify technician identities
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse of the platform
• Improve platform functionality and user experience

Information Sharing

Customer and technician contact details may be shared only after a service request has been accepted and assigned.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Data Storage and Security

User information is stored securely using Firebase services. We take reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

Location Information

ServiceSetu does not collect live GPS location. Users provide their address manually for service purposes.

Account Deletion

Customers and technicians can delete their accounts through the application.

Upon account deletion:

• Login access will be removed.
• Personal information may be deleted from our systems.
• Certain records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Children's Privacy

ServiceSetu is not intended for use by children under the age of 18.
